Noah Consulting Celebrates Six Years: Growth is Recognized and New Practices Established
(Houston, Texas) Noah Consulting, an award-winning provider of energy information management services, announced today that it is celebrating six years of partnering with clients to plan, architect, create and deploy solutions to transform data into a valuable asset that empowers companies to make informed decisions.
Noah Consulting’s growth did not go unnoticed. This year, it received top honors as Enterprise Champion of Houston Business Journal’s fastest-growing companies. Each year, the Houston Business Journal ranks the top 100 fastest growing companies based on two-year growth. From this group, five earned the special distinction, Enterprise Champion, for excelling in community service, innovation and corporate culture.
Recognition for a family-like culture and innovative solutions also poured in this year. The company was recognized as the #1 Small Place to Work in IT by Computerworld and placed 8th overall for its 85% retention rate. It also was named a Best Place to Work in the small company category for the Houston Business Journal. A treasured milestone was the 2014 Informatica Innovation Award for an enterprise data platform project leveraging Informatica’s solutions to improve an oil and gas client’s information management capability.
In the midst of growth and recognition, Noah Consulting has its eyes set on maintaining a strong culture, attracting and retaining the best talent, increasing strategic partnerships, expanding internationally and growing its two new practices.
“Our culture is rooted in the Noah family being fulfilled, happy and empowered to deliver excellence on projects that position our clients to make decisions based on complete, correct, consistent and current data,” noted Shannon Tassin, director for Noah Consulting.
Noah Consulting opened an office in Calgary, Canada, in 2010 and has experience on other international projects, including work in Australia, Vietnam and New Guinea. Now, the focus is on expanding into Western Europe.
“We would like to secure a few international projects in 2015,” said Stewart Nelson, director for Noah Consulting. “You will see us at more international conferences and events sharing our expertise in the unconventionals, particularly in areas where new regulations are opening up onshore drilling and fracking opportunities.”
To meet the demands of the market, Noah Consulting has established two new practices ─ Facilities Information Management and Content Enablement ─ and expanded its leadership and sales team to support these practices.
Managing facilities information is one of the greatest challenges facing owners, operators, contractors, suppliers, manufacturers and services vendors, as well as regulators and standards development organizations. With huge capital investments and operational expenses that will span many decades, the question of value is omnipresent. Our Facilities Information Management Practice, led by Grant Hartwright, exists to deliver effective information management solutions for the diverse stakeholders involved in Major Capital Projects and facilities Operations and Maintenance across the full asset information lifecycle.
Noah Consulting’s new Content Enablement Practice, led by Greg Kowalik and Todd Burns, will provide solutions that improve operations by connecting important business processes and applications to relevant content items. Managing structured and unstructured information, such as contracts, invoices, employee records, engineering drawings, permitting documentation, and travel receipts, can be overwhelming. Now companies can look to Noah Consulting for the expertise to manage all the information in their enterprise in a holistic and meaningful way.
“New practices, partnerships and client engagements have made this year a rewarding whirlwind for the Noah Family,” said John Ruddy. “We were only able to reach these milestones because of our amazing team.”
