Job Description - Job Type (Full-time or contract)

The Data Analyst will collect and inspect data to ensure data quality.  The Data Analyst will need strong data and Business analysis skills and ability to research missing data from system queries.  The Data Analyst will participate with the Data Architect to ensure data management processes support business requirements, the reference architecture, and the overall vision of the client.

Skills & Responsibilities:

• Understand, Analyze, document and profile the relationships of data across systems and identify business data mismatches across interfaces, datamarts and custom reporting queries. Define and document business use and descriptions of the analyzed data and build recommended business and systems processes to ensure accurate data is flowing between systems
•  Track and resolve data issues raised from project and data governance process.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written);

• Strong understanding of oil and gas financial and operational  data
• Collaborates with resources across business
• Apply data quality metrics.
• Track and resolve data quality issues, which includes working with upstream data sources and applications, analytics, and reporting environments to ensure standards are met
• Establish data quality priorities

Project Communication:

• Coordinate & Conduct code reviews
• Conduct & Facilitate requirements, design, and implementation reviews
• Review User Adoption of deliverables and acceptance testing
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately

Expertise:

This individual must have experience working with data within the upstream Oil & Gas domain with progressive experience in Information Management and GG&E activities over the past 5-7 years, including Data Management.

Backend experience and knowledge with P2 Energy Systems applications (Enterprise Upstream (EU-Base, EU-PM, EU-FO, TEL (Tobin), Wellcore), Aries, Hyperion preferred
